Logic

Neither of the boys particularly enjoy staying at home all day-- they want a change of scenery partway through the morning or afternoon. Yesterday, Judah announced to me (at about 9am), "Mommy, I want to GO somewhere." Having already thought this through, I was ready with a plan-- it is unseasonably cold again for Tomball, and it rained yesterday, so outside was sort of out of the question. I suggested, "How about the library? They have story-time and crafts today." I honestly thought that this would be met with enthusiasm. Without so much as a pause to consider this idea, Judah shook his head and replied, "No, I want to go somewhere we can be LOUD that has lots of toys." Of course. My brain worked through this and I concluded that...right. You have to be quiet at the library. I guess that = no fun in my 3 year old's way of thinking. I told him, "Well, I think that place is HOME, kiddo. Loud, and lots of toys." We settled for going to visit Gaga. She doesn't mind if we're loud, and she has toys to boot.
