Only apparently we handle excitement differently. Judah is BUSY. I know this and was not surprised when he was into everything at the park, grabbing other kids' snacks, and running like a maniac. I ran after him, snatching back snacks, replacing the art supplies, and instructing the whole time, "no buddy, this is Judah's snack," etc. I was surprised however, when he pushed other kids. For fun, it seemed. He grinned and sort of shoved them over (like it was some little game to him). I was mortified, and I would run over and yank him away make him apologize and all would be well--until 10 minutes later, he's at it again. Oh my. You know, it's not altogether shocking considering he did the same thing once before at the library (during ring-around-the-rosy--a little girl did not "fall down" so Judah pushed her over). But I was furious with him by the time we left, and he knew Mommy wasn't happy. So, my applications are these:
1. If I don't have my children around other kids, they don't know how to act. (Apparently they push for fun!) Play groups are important.
2. Blue Lightning comes to play group next week, and becomes MINE if he pushes.
3. All weekend long will be a tutorial on how we treat our friends-- cousin Will is staying with us for a few days (sovereignty) to be our guinea pig. Sigh. Poor Will.
4. Perhaps football is his destined sport.
Crazy child.

oh the joys of parenting! (*only using slight sarcasm here!)
We would love to join your playgroup, if I may be so bold as to butt in. I have been struggling with Jade not getting any social interaction besides Sundays.
and.. I love your new Autumn background.. its way hipper than mine!
We love Judah!!! Hes a doll and it wasn't as bad as you made it sound. Can't wait to play again!
